Temperature
Dial Thermometers
Dial thermometers work on the bimetal, expansion or gas actuation principle. Scale ranges of -200 ... +700 °C (-328 ... 1,292 °F) in different class accuracies, response times and resilience to environmental influences. Diverse connection designs, stem diameters and individual stem lengths enable a flexible measuring point design.
Digital Indicators
Digital indicators are available in various designs for panel mounting and integrated in the connection head.
Thermocouples
Thermocouples generate a voltage directly dependent on temperature. They are suited for high temperatures up to 1,700 °C (3,092 °F). The accuracy classes 1 and 2 apply for thermocouples in accordance with IEC 60584 as well as the standard and special classes in accordance with ASTM E230.
Resistance Thermometers
Resistance thermometers are equipped with platinum sensor elements which change their electrical resistance as a function of temperature. Resistance thermometers are suitable for applications between -328F -1,112F. Accuracy classes AA, A and B apply to all resistance thermometers. They are available with a tolerance value to IEC 60751.
Temperature Switches
Temperature switches are used in a variety of industrial and technical processes. If a preset temperature is reached, then the temperature switch opens or closes a corresponding switch contact. Depending on the requirements, mechanical or electronic switches can be used.
Temperature Transmitters
Temperature transmitters convert the input signal from a wide range of temperature sensors, such as resistance thermometers, thermocouples, and potentiometers, into a standardized analogue or digital output signal.
Thermowells
Thermowells / protection tubes are cylindrical fittings used to protect temperature sensors installed in industrial processes.
Pressure
Pressure Gauges
Pressure gauges gauge absolute and differential pressure. Measuring systems include Bourdon tube, diaphragm element and capsule element technologies. Scale ranges cover from 0 … 0.2” H2O to 0 … 85,000 psi and indication accuracies of up to 0.1%. Pressure elements from copper alloys, stainless steel or special materials are available.
Digital Pressure Gauges
Digital pressure gauges display the acting pressure in an integrated digital display. Digital pressure gauges are for general industrial applications and for use in the field of testing and calibration. Intrinsically safe versions and instruments with wireless interface versions are also available.
Pressure Sensors
Pressure sensors (pressure transmitters) convert the physical quantity 'pressure' into an industry-standard signal. Pressure sensors are used for refrigeration and air-conditioning applications, the food industry, mobile working machines, medical gases and the semiconductor industry. They offer accuracies starting from 0.05%, measuring ranges from 20inWc ... 200,000 psi, digital interfaces such as CANopen and IO-Link, multiple international approvals, hazardous areas.
Process Transmitters
Process transmitters differentiate themselves from pressure sensors through their increased range of functionality: they feature integrated displays, offer high measuring accuracies, freely scalable measuring ranges, communicate via digital bus signals and can be delivered with many case styles and worldwide hazardous area approvals.
Pressure Switches
Pressure switches are used in a variety of industrial and technical processes. A pressure switch opens or closes a corresponding switch contact as soon as a preset pressure is reached. Pressure switches are used with mechanical or electrical switch contacts, with or without displays and with various setting possibilities.
Diaphragm Seals
Diaphragm seals, mounted with pressure gauges, process transmitters, pressure switches etc., can be used at extreme temperatures from -130 to +750 °F and with aggressive, corrosive, heterogeneous, abrasive, highly viscous or toxic media.
